12 years' jail for reign of terror by schoolboy rapist

A SCHOOLBOY serial rapist dubbed the "Brixton R Kelly" has been sent to prison for 12 years following a three-year campaign violence against young groomed on Snapchat.

Kevarnie Queen, aged just 15 when most of his offending took place, was likened to the disgraced American R&B singer Kelly, who has been jailed for a string of child sex offences.

A court was told Queen, now 19, was "deplorable and misogynistic" but had once been on the verge of a professional football career.

He was convicted of 22 counts of rape committed between 2019 and 2022 against six girls aged under 18.

Some of his victims, whose harrowing victim impact statements were read aloud in court, were religious and had planned to have sex only after getting married.

One girl told of how she "lost her innocence, her voice and her integrity" while another branded him a "demon".
