Police officer badly hurt after assault while investigating ‘suspicious behaviour'

A POLICE officer was left with serious injuries whilst stopping a “suspicious” Croydon man.
-
He tried to make the stop just before 6pm on Wednesday, May 7 following reports of suspicious behaviour on Station Road, West Croydon, but ended up injured.
Asif Ahmadziy, 27, from Birmingham, was tasered and arrested on suspicion of GBH at the scene.
