OFSTED REPORT FULL OF PRAISE FOR ORCHARD HILL COLLEGE

ONE of south London's biggest special educational needs and disability (SEND) schools has received its third consecutive 'Outstanding' Ofsted rating, with inspectors saying that its students are 'exceptionally well prepared for their next steps.

Orchard Hill College (OCH) in Sutton was praised following a full inspection of its specialist post-16 SEND provision across London and Surrey. The college, which supports more than 500 students aged 16 to 25, received the highest grade in every inspection category, including quality of education, leadership, and personal development.

Operating centres in Sutton, Croydon and most recently Wallington, with the opening of Carew Academy, OCH and its associated academy were praised for their carefully tailored and ambitious curriculum. Inspectors noted that the education students receive is consistently high quality, with many making exceptional progress toward both academic and personal goals.
