Team stay in top form as riders saddle up for success

OUTSTANDING results keep rolling in for riders from the top Warwickshire-based cycling outfit - Team MI Racing Townsend Vehicle Hire.
The busy schedule of time trial races has continued into this month. Warwick-based rider Jack O'Neill raced in the Beacon RCC Little Mountain Time Trial.
The event, based to the west of Worcester, attracted over 60 riders from around the county. The 39-mile route is a tough test, taking in almost 1,000m of climbing. Choosing to race the course on his road bike, O'Neill finished in an excellent sixth place.
The team’s most prolific time trial rider, Nuneaton-based David Mead, once again proved unbeatable when racing at the Droitwich Cycling Club open 10 mile race.
On the undulating K34/10 course between Alcester and Worcester, Mead clocked a time of 20 minutes and 16 seconds to take the win.
Team-mate Simon Law finished in eighth place and Joe Murray in 11th place. Warwick-based rider Tom Bradley, riding in the road bike category, also finished in an excellent second place. The combined times of Mead, Law and Murray were good enough to take the prize for fastest team.
