'Special' Warks pub to close

BBC chef Glynn Purnell has announced the closure of a 'special' Warwickshire pub amid a list of cost concerns.

The Birmingham born top chef has confirmed that The Mount by Glynn Purnell in Henley in Arden will close its doors following its final service on Sunday, March 15.
It comes almost four years after the pub was opened to much fanfare but its owners say that they have been forced to take the difficult to close amid rising running costs, increasing food prices and energy bills.
Staff are said to be being supported through the closure and a statement says that all suppliers will be paid.
