COVENTRY
City and title rivals Middlesbrough are reportedly both interested in signing prolific FC Cincinnati striker Kevin Denkey.Cincinnati set a new MLS transfer record when they signed Denkey, now aged 25, from Belgian side Cercle Brugge in November 2024 for $16.2 million (about £13m).
He repaid them with 16 goals - including a couple of spectacular efforts - in the 2025 season as they finished second in the Eastern Conference and then reached the MLS Cup playoff semifinals.
