Margot has taken method dressing to new Heights

DOOMED love is in the air... and the cinema.

Unless you've spent the last couple of weeks haunting the Yorkshire Moors, like its tragic female lead, you can't fail to be aware that a new adaptation of Emily Brontë’s Wuthering Heights is hitting the big screen. (I will not apologise for the spoiler, the book has been out for 178 years).

Directed by Emerald Fennell, the filmmaker who had Irish actor Barry Keoghan drink his pal's bath water and do something unspeakable on a grave in Saltburn, it sees Aussies Jacob Elordi and Margot Robbie as Heathcliff and Cathy.

From the moment the movie was greenlit it has come under fire. Purists argue that, at 35, Margot is too old and reviews so far have been mixed to say the least, with one calling it Fifty Shades of Grimm.

Spurred on by Grazia magazine's assertion that it is “a hot horny riot, made for women” this Sunday afternoon I'll be finding out just how hot and horny it is.
