Hendrick: 'Standout' City look a promotion side

COVENTRY City have been backed for a top-two finish in the Championship with claims that Frank Lampard's side are the only "standout" team in the division.

That's according to ex-Republic of Ireland midfielder Jeff Hendrick who has become increasingly impressed from afar as to what the Sky Blues have been building over recent seasons.

Speaking about the current success at the CBS Arena, he told Boyle Sports: "I'm not surprised at all by Coventry. I've seen them over the last few years, especially playing in the Championship. They've been a really impressive club.
