Date set for demolition of tower blocks

A DATE has been pencilled in to demolish condemned Coventry tower blocks deemed 'not fit for purpose'.
The flats, on Ferrers Close in Tile Hill, date back to the 1960s and will be bulldozed in September, according to plans submitted to the council.
Citizen Housing has been rehoming residents from the flats for some time, but we understand there is still one person left living there.
