Cov warehouse plan set to create 115 jobs

A VACANT Walsgrave office block is to be knocked down to make way for a warehouse which developers say will create around 115 jobs when completed.

Planning officers at Coventry City Council gave the scheme on Paradise Way near to the junction of the M6 and M69 the green light after a number of amendments were made following initial concerns from highways and ecology experts.

A design and access statement produced by architects Stephen George and Partners explained that there was now a greater need for warehousing space rather than office accommodation such as that provided at Sapphire Court.
