Council leader hits back

THE leader of Warwickshire County Council has responded saying comments he has 'taken no action' during the ongoing Jaguar Land Rover cyber attack are 'misleading and unfair'.

Cllr George Finch, who is also chairman of the North Warwickshire and Bedworth arm of Reform UK, was accused of practicing 'student politics' by Matt Western, Labour MP or Warwick and Leamington. He pointed to Cllr Finch's social media activity, saying he’d made no mention of the crisis, instead saying he had spent the weeks since the attack focussing on “flags”, which Mr Western says Cllr Finch mentioned seven times, “Tories defecting to Reform UK” (four times) and “calling sixth forms ‘woke” (twice).
