Campaigners in call for speed cameras on Coventry roads

A CALL has been made for average speed cameras to be installed on three main Coventry roads.
Campaigners say that the city council should put 'peace of mind over statistics' when it comes to road safety.
They say that average speed cameras should be installed on Duggins Lane, Tanners Lane and Station Avenue.
This is where they claim 'traffic speeds have been recorded well above safe limits and as high as 60mph.'
