Birds of prey centre on move to new location
June 25, 2025
|Carmarthen Journal
THE British Bird of Prey Centre is relocating to a new location on the outskirts of Carmarthen.
Having been based at the National Botanic Garden of Wales for a number of years, the award-winning attraction will move to a new home in the village of Idole, four miles south of Carmarthen, in the autumn.
Set to open in October, the new site will allow people to get closer to native birds, providing education and thrilling experiences through conservation-focused encounters.
Building on the success of their centre at the National Botanic Garden of Wales, Emma and Alex Hill, business directors at the British Bird of Prey Centre, have secured a new location designed to welcome even more visitors.
