AMMANFORD Park sit at the top of the Premier division of the Llanelli and District Bowling League.

Thery moved to the summit after capitalising on the misfortunes of other teams.

They posted their third win, this time at the expense of Parc y Dre.

Last year's champions Loughor suffered a midweek loss at Parc y Dre but bounced back at home to newly-promoted Kidwelly Town.

Llanelli had a good week with victories at Brynhyfryd in midweek and at home to Graig Merthyr on Saturday.

In division one, Burry Port and Tybie are equal on points at the top of the table but Burry Port have a game in hand.

Newly-promoted Llandeilo and Parc Williams sit at the bottom as they seek their first victories.
