Tripura soon to start liver and bone marrow transplantation

Tripura government has been discussing with the nationally acclaimed non-profit charitable organisation — Mohan Foundation — beginning liver and bone marrow transplants in the state, said Chief Minister Dr Manik Saha here today.

He said Agartala Govt Medical College has successfully transplanted a third kidney and the patients are leading a normal life and mentioned, “We have taken all initiatives to ensure quality super-speciality health service and organ transplantation service in the state. So that people do not need to go outside.”
