The Waqf Amendment Act Should be withdrawn : CPI National Committee Member Palla Venkata Reddy

CPI National Committee Member Palla Venkata Reddy has demanded that the Central Government immediately withdraw the Waqf Board Amendment Act introduced by the Modi government at the Center, saying that it is causing irreparable injustice to the minority communities.

The CPI Nalgonda District Committee Council meeting was held at the local Magdum Bhavan on Friday.

Speaking at the meeting as the chief guest, Palla Venkata Reddy called on the people of all sections of the state to protest against the Waqf Board Amendment Act and the autocratic attitude of the Central Government. He alleged that since the Modi government came to power, instead of tying up the country's wealth to the wealthy classes, it has been bringing laws favorable to them and burdening the poor with high prices and works.
