Telangana Deputy Chief Minister Bhatti Vikramarka Mallu today stated that the Rs 1.20 crore accident insurance scheme being implemented in Singareni Collieries Company Limited (SCCL) should serve as a model not only for public sector undertakings but also for all states across the country.

As part of the free accident insurance scheme being implemented in Singareni following the directions of the State Government, Bhatti handed over a cheque for Rs 1.20 crore to the family of a worker who recently lost his life in an accident, at a event held at Mahatma Jyotirao Phule Praja Bhavan, here.
