In light of heightened tension, a large-scale mock drill titled Operation Abhyas was conducted in Hyderabad under the aegis of the Central Government and the Police Department.

The drill, aimed at testing emergency preparedness and raising public awareness, commenced at 1600 hours on Wednesday.
Sirens were sounded across various locations in the city, including major intersections and residential apartments, signalling the start of the exercise.
