KTR slams Reddy’s ‘Future City’, alleges betrayal of farmers

BRS Working President K T Rama Rao (KTR) on Sunday lashed out at Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy, alleging that the proposed “Future City” project has no future and is nothing but an attempt to convert the Hyderabad Pharma City lands into a real estate venture for the benefit of his family and friends.

In a statement here, KTR accused the Congress government of cheating farmers who had given their lands for the Pharma City project initiated by the previous BRS regime.

He said that despite spending hundreds of crores of public money on infrastructure for Pharma City, the government has sidelined the project and is now promoting what he called an “imaginary Future City”.
