J&K : Shri Baba Buddha Amarnath Yatra in Poonch likely from July 28

The 12-day-long Shri Baba Buddha Amarnath Yatra this year is likely to begin on July 28 in the bordering Poonch district of Jammu and Kashmir.

The first batch will leave from the Bhagwati Nagar, Jammu-based Yatri Niwas for Poonch.
"The Yatra this year is likely starting from July 28 and concluding on August 8," a local priest (pandit) said.
He stated that likewise every year, a large number of devotees are expected to visit and pay obeisance to Baba Shri Buddha Amarnath.
