CP Sudheer Babu inaugurated 855CCTV cameras

: G. Sudheer Babu, IPS, Commissioner of Police, Rachakonda, inaugurated 855CCTV cameras in Maheshwaram Zone, in which 289CCTV cameras have been installed across 26Colonies/Villages covering with major road and junctions at a cost of Rs.68,00,000/- (Sixty-EightLakhs) with 2 years of Annual Maintenance Contract (AMC) under the community initiative.

The remaining 566CCTV cameras have been installed in 138 vulnerable temples under special drive. These Community cameras will be integrated into the Command &Control Centre, where a dedicated team will monitor them around the clock. As of today, there are 2997 Community CCTV cameras and 23,582 Nenusaitham CCTVs installed, all of which are geo-tagged within the limits of the Maheshwaram Zone.
