Congress MLA accuses BJP MP of protecting, supporting criminals

The Congress MLA from city’s Banamalipur, Gopal Chandra Roy, today alleged that opposition party workers have repeatedly been coming under attack from unruly elements backed by a sitting MP of BJP.

Roy launched a door-to-door campaign against BJP led government, alleging misrule, lawlessness, and corruption. He alleged that all the antisocial elements and rowdies have been getting shelter from BJP’s state president and Loksabha MP Rajib Bhattacharjee.
