AP Minister Manohar hands over Smart Ration Cards to beneficiaries

Andhra Pradesh Minister for Civil Supplies Nadendla Manohar, accompanied by union Minister of State for Rural Development Pemmasani Chandrasekhar, handed over ‘Smart Ration Cards’ to some of the beneficiaries at Nandivelugu village today.

The AP Government has introduced new ‘Smart Ration Cards’ in place of conventional ration cards. The Civil Supplies Minister and the union Minister went to the houses of some of the beneficiaries and handed over the smart ration cards.
Speaking on the occasion, Civil Supplies Minister Nadendla Manohar said that over 1.46 crore Smart Ration Cards are being handed over to the beneficiaries across the state.
He noted that over 4 crore people are getting benefits from the government in various forms. Despite the state facing financial constraints, all welfare schemes are being implemented as per the assurance, he highlighted.
