AP CM Naidu asks officials to shift people from low-lying areas to relief camps

Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu directed the officials to be more alert in view of Montha cyclone and shift the people of coastal areas to rehabilitation centres and distribute 25 kg of rice and essential commodities.

The Chief Minister held a meeting with the officials concerned in the Secretariat and reviewed the steps being taken to tackle the Montha cyclone on Monday. The Chief Minister told officials to give top priority to provide cyclone information to people in real time by releasing weather bulletins every hour.
He asked officials to see that there should not be any interruption in the communication system and satellite phones should be used.
