24 Maoists surrender in Chhattisgarh

In a significant development, 24 hardcore Maoists, carrying a total bounty of ₹87.5 lakh, surrendered before security forces in Bijapur district of Chhattisgarh on Friday.
-
Among them, 20 Maoists had rewards ranging from ₹50,000 to ₹10 lakh announced for their capture.
