Bafana had just dispatched Lesotho 2-0 in Polokwane last Friday, looking every bit like a team that deserves to qualify for the showpiece event. But as Mzansi’s attention turned to the next game against Benin in the Ivory Coast on Tuesday, there were reports that South Africa could lose the three log points from the Lesotho game.
