Safety tips for matrics as exams wrap up

WESTERN Cape matrics write their final exams today, closing a smooth-running season that saw 112 papers completed across the province.
A total of 1470 candidates will sit for Agricultural Management Practices, Marine Sciences or Music Comprehension on the final day.
Education MEC David Maynier praised the clean execution of the 2025 exam session.
"The exam session has run smoothly this year, thanks to the exceptional management by our officials and school staff," he said. "This is a massive administrative task, and we appreciate the support that the public has shown during the exams."
He saluted teachers for their dedication.
