Marnus says Boks will stop All Blacks’ tricks in the lineout

THERE were occasions during last week's Test match at Eden Park where All Black Wallace Sititi was so offside in the lineouts that he was almost next to Grant Williams when Pieter-Steph du Toit cleared the ball off the top.

To their credit, the All Blacks played referee Karl Dickson to perfection. It was like the glory days of Richie McCaw, where the Kiwis got away with murder.

Once they saw that Dickson was not going to blow for interference in the lineouts or hands in the rucks, they went to town. Poor Williams had a difficult job in disposing of the untidy possession.

There is a different referee in this week’s return match against the All Blacks in Wellington in Nika Amashukeli.
