Is Motsepe the answer to SA’s political crisis?

If PATRICE Motsepe, with his unequalled, impeccable credentials, the only person who could rescue South Africa from total collapse, could tell us, as he is alleged to have said, when he was first approached by leaders in the ANC party, to throw his hat in the ring in the contest to become President Cyril Ramaphosa’s successor, he is alleged to have said he was not mad enough to join politics.

That just makes him the most suitable candidate, because he has insight into the enormous challenges that await whoever takes the baton, whereas those that are itching and cannot wait to see themselves catapulted to the status of president, must be wondering what type of person would turn down such an honour because everything is about themselves, egoistic and self-interested, and not the success of the country and its people.
