Diving into the dreamlike world of 'Water Moon'

SPECULATIVE fiction is not a genre I generally choose but diving, and I mean that literally, into Water Moon by Manila born author Samantha Sotto Yambao was a magical journey I will not easily forget.
We read to escape and this novel is escapism par excellence. They say that daydreaming is an important skill to develop our imagination - it's probably something us practical people don’t do enough. When did you let your mind wander into exotic, unimaginable, unrealistic places? We are mostly so grounded or time poor that’s not on our agenda.
