It's worth recalling why AI governance is so important. Though it may now feel like a distant memory, it’s only been a decade since the Cambridge Analytica scandal exposed how Facebook users’ personal data was harvested and used to support Donald Trump's 2016 campaign and influence the Brexit vote.
