Accused in Pather murder abandon bail

SIX of the accused believed to be behind the kidnapping and murder of Cape Town father, Malcolm Pather, whose body was found burnt beyond recognition earlier this year, have abandoned their bail application.
One of the accused, an alleged sex worker, is focused on continuing her bail application.
The State is set to prove that the group - alleged gang members and sex workers - lured Pather to a Table View residence in July. He was last seen alive on July 13, leaving his home in his blue BMW.
The accused are: Stacey-Lee Hector, Wade Van Reenen, Igshaan Abrahams, Kyle Francis, Courtney Nortje, Paul Solomons and Zainoediden Greeff.
