Young nets eighth of the season to deliver victory for Eynesbury

EYNESBURY Rovers claimed a 2-1 home success over Daventry Town in the United Counties League Premier Division South on Saturday.

Before this game a minute's silence was observed for 21-year-old footballer Billy Vigar who sadly lost his life after sustaining a head injury whilst playing for Chichester City last weekend.

As for the game, Rovers made an ideal start taking a fifth-minute lead. Lewis Lynn, on the right-hand side of the penalty area, delivered a low cross into the box for striker Scott Joseph to fire home his first goal for the club on his full home debut.
