Bus company to increase prices of some tickets

A BUS company is increasing the price of its tickets to travel across Cambridgeshire.

From Sunday (January 18), Whippet, which runs buses in Cambridge, Huntingdon, St Neots and surrounding villages, is increasing some of its ticket prices.
The £3 single fare will stay the same and anyone with a CPCA Tiger pass can still travel for £1 per journey.
Prices for other tickets are increasing.
The following tickets will be the new prices below:
■Cambridge zone:
All day tickets - £5 for adults (currently £4.40); £3.80 for children or students with valid ID (currently £3.30).
