DTI leverages ASEAN SME policy index to boost programs for MSMES

THE Department of Trade and Industry (DTI), through the Bureau of Small and Medium Enterprise Development (BSMED), conducted the National Dissemination Seminar on the ASEAN SME Policy Index (ASPI) 2024 to help strengthen policies and programs for micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) in the Philippines, held on February 11, 2026 at Holiday Inn in Makati City.

The seminar convened officials of the MSMED Council, national government agencies, local stakeholders, private sector representatives, and development partners. Representatives from the Organisation for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD) and the ASEAN Secretariat also participated in the activity.
