Army units repel ‘invaders’ in Luzon live-fire exercises

THE Army (PA) on Tuesday said that it has successfully repelled a simulated "enemy attack" using its armor and artillery units during a littoral defense live fire exercise in Burgos, Pangasinan, conducted on March 9.

“The 701st Combined Arms Brigade utilized its armor and artillery assets which included remote control weapons systems mounted on armored infantry fighting vehicles and 105mm towed howitzers,” the Army spokesperson, Col. Louie Dema-ala, said in a statement.
