BURTON Albion manager Gary Bowyer says he won't be fooled by Peterborough United's league position ahead of today's meeting.

Table fails to reflect quality Posh have, insists boss Bowyer

Peterborough United manager Darren Ferguson is in need of a run of wins.

Darren Ferguson's Posh side arrive at the Pirelli Stadium sitting bottom of the League One table.

That is something of a surprise given the squad at their disposal - and Bowyer insists that it’s a spot they won't be in for long.

Bowyer told the club: “I've seen them live this season and I've seen them on video, and in my opinion they're in a false position.

“I have no qualms about them being down there, at the end of the season they won't be there, so it presents a real challenge for us this weekend.

“The calibre of player they have got, the money they have spent on some of the strikers they have brought in. I’m totally aware of the challenge that lies ahead.

“The experience that Darren Ferguson has, the type of football that he plays, there's no way they will be at the bottom for long. You only have to look at his track record, you'd be hard pushed to find a manager who has achieved what he has achieved in the lower two divisions.
