Runway shut after emergency landing with 'punctured tyre'

THE runway at East Midlands Airport (EMA) was closed to flights on Monday of this week after a plane made an emergency landing.
-
A Tui flight from Corfu to Birmingham was diverted to East Midlands. It was reported that the aircraft landed at Castle Donington at about 2.30pm.
While the aircraft was on the runway, no arrivals or departures were possible.
