New modern lights 'make roads safer & save cash'

FURTHER 15,000 ARE SET TO BE REPLACED ACROSS THE COUNTY
NEW modern LED street lights are helping the county's roads 'safer and brighter' as well making savings for taxpayers.
With the clocks having gone back on Sunday 26 October, Staffordshire County Council is reminding residents of its ongoing commitment to upgrading a further 15,000 streetlights across Staffordshire.
This £4.9 million investment is part of the Invest to Save programme, which has already replaced nearly 48,000 streetlights since 2020.
