NEW SCHEME PROVIDES ESSENTIAL HOUSEHOLD ITEMS TO THOSE MOVING INTO INDEPENDENT LIVING
CARE leavers in Staffordshire are being given help to furnish their homes under a new project.
The Care Leavers Hub, coordinated by the county council, is making essential secondhand furniture available to young people leaving care and moving into independent living. They will also receive cleaning hampers and basic essentials such as tool kits to help them move into homes provided by a charity.
