GARY Bowyer predictably refused to celebrate the near-certainty that Burton Albion will still be in League One next season - pointing out that the job was not yet done.

- By COLSTON CRAWFORD

Only a huge swing in goal difference and defeat in the Brewers' last two games could see them relegated now following Saturday's 2-1 win over Cambridge United.

But Bowyer would not be deflected from the usual post-match mantra which has served him so well since December.

"We haven't done anything yet, because you just used that big word, almost," he told the media.

"I don't want to sound like a party pooper but it's my job to make sure that we go about these next two games properly.

"After every game that we win, the players deserve to enjoy it and celebrate it but we've just said to them, mathematically it's not done. Until it's mathematically done, we've got to keep going.

"I've said all along, it's the next goal and the next game for us and nothing changes. It still doesn't.
