NEW £400M AURORA FLEET IS SET TO LAUNCH NEXT MONTH
RAIL travellers on the Midland Main Line will benefit from the launch of the long-awaited £400 million East Midlands Railway (EMR) Aurora fleet from December - with the ability to run on electricity and the cutting of carbon emissions.
The Hitachi Rail-built fleet will provide more seats, modern, spacious interiors, improved air conditioning, free WiFi, plug sockets at every seat, and clear customer information screens.
