UNFORTUNATELY Trump's recent tough talking about deadlines for Putin to agree a ceasefire in the Ukraine war or face severe sanctions which could derail Russia's economy has ended with him being strung along again by Putin for more 'negotiations,' this time with Putin meeting Trump in Alaska.
Trump has reverted to his 'real estate deal maker' true persona, and Ukraine is hearing him again suggest that it will have to cede some of its land to Russia for a 'peace' deal.
This must feel like 'Groundhog day' for the Ukrainians and for the many Western countries fully behind their struggle against Putin's barbaric invasion. Trump could further reward Putin if he offers to lift US sanctions on Russia if a deal is agreed.
