Bristol's summer calendar is always packed but this year we'll all need to find more space in our diaries to squeeze in the exciting new events taking place alongside our favourites...

A HOST of new tours, festivals and events are being held in Bristol this summer and Visit Bristol has rounded up some of this highlights, as well as taking a look at some of the city’s much-loved annual celebrations.
NEW FOR 2025...
Gromit Unleashed 3
Now until August 31
The much-loved Gromit Unleashed 3 trail is back, with a dazzling movie magic theme, celebrating the world of storytelling and film. Bristol-based Aardman and The Grand Appeal will be raising money for Bristol Royal Children’s Hospital through the trail, which will feature everyone's favourite dog Gromit, his inventor human Wallace, the mischievous penguin Feathers McGraw and a new character, Norbot, the “smart gnome” from the latest Aardman film, Wallace & Gromit: Vengeance Most Fowl.
Bristol Cider Week
July 25 to August 3
Bristol, the UK’s cider capital, is hosting a week-long citywide celebration! Kicking off with an opening party at Brunel's SS Great Britain (including meet-the-maker tasting sessions and a chance to explore the ship after-hours), there will also be a citywide cider trail running through out, a King Street takeover on July 26 and 27 (with the pubs running tap takeovers and live music), a Cider Salon event, a Cider Makers’ Market and a Closing Party.
Bristol Pride x Martin Parr x Bristol Museum and Art Gallery
Now to November 23
The world-famous documentary photographer Martin Parr stages a return to Bristol Museum & Art Gallery with a showcase of the city’s colourful Parade March. Images in the exhibition capture all the different walks of life that come to celebrate and protest at Bristol Pride.
