THERE were so many positives, so many good things to say about our performance on Saturday against Preston North End, but it still felt to me more like two points dropped rather than a point gained.
Historically, Deepdale hasn't always been a happy hunting ground for City, however in recent seasons we have fared well there. Like head coach Gerhard Struber, I was looking to see a reaction from the players, following the 3-1 home defeat to Oxford United. Paul Heckingbottom’s side are known for their physicality and their early-season form had been impressive with victories against Leicester City and Ipswich Town, along with a draw against leaders Middlesbrough.
