Postcodes Communities unite to produce film for school pupils
March 04, 2026
|Bristol Post
THE leaders of two communities at the centre of a so-called 'postcode rivalry' have explained why they came together to commission a film about it, which is set to be screened in schools across Bristol.

The film, simply called Postcodes, was screened for the first time at the Watershed in Bristol on Monday evening, and features young knife crime campaigner Serena Wiebe travelling to Hartcliffe and Knowle West to talk to young people about their lives and the rivalry that has seen violence over the years.
The screening at the Watershed was supposed to include Serena on a panel discussion after the film was shown, but the 20-year-old from Easton was invited to Downing Street to take part in a taskforce set up by the Prime Minister to tackle youth knife crime.
