Midfielder leaves Ashton Gate after just one season

BRISTOL City midfielder Marcus McGuane has joined Huddersfield Town.

The 26-year-old was at Ashton Gate for just one season and although he made 24 appearances for the Robins during the charge into the playoff places, most were from the bench, and he struggled to nail down a place in the starting XI.
The former Arsenal and Barcelona prospect, above, moves to the Yorkshire club who finished in mid-table in League One last season following relegation back in 2024.
