March 11, 2026
|Bristol Post
N National Conference West, Clifton Robinsons bounced back from defeat in their previous game to win the potentially tricky derby 5-1 against University of Bristol and extend their lead at the top to five points as second-placed Marlow were held to a draw by Cardiff Met 2s, while third-placed Chichester were beaten 3-2 by fourth-placed Ashmoor.

Two goals in the first seven minutes from Ben Stone and Isaac Hocking provided the perfect start. Elliot Moran struck back for the students, but Stu Loughrey added a third before halftime.
Robbies controlled the game well and a fine opportunist effort from Jamie Greenwood at the end of the third quarter extended the lead. Adam Wyatt completed the scoring from a neatly-worked penalty corner routine with two minutes remaining.
Robbies play Fareham at Clifton College on Sunday (noon), where a win could seal the title and promotion if Ashmoor avoid defeat at Marlow. The students host Isca at Coombe Dingle (12.30pm).
