First phase of Tropicana transformation complete

THE first phase of improvement works for the Tropicana in Weston-Super-Mare have been completed.
-
North Somerset Council is transforming the former lido into a “nationally significant” seafront venue for culture, arts and entertainment.
Morgon Sindal Construction was hired by the council to demolish the existing 1980s internal event space building, which has now been completed.
The main 1930s promenade building will now be boarded up for protection until the next phase of construction work begins.
