Cricket Shaw 'excited' by Somerset challenge after leaving Glos

SEAM bowler Josh Shaw is leaving Gloucestershire to sign for Somerset ona three-year contract.
Shaw first joined Gloucestershire in 2016 on loan from Yorkshire, the first of two loan spells, before signing permanently in 2019.
Renowned for his ability to swing the new ball across all formats, as well as his pace and determination to take wickets, Shaw departs Nevil Road having taken 217 wickets in 130 appearances for the club.
Astandout moment came in the 2024 Vitality Blast, when Josh played a central role in helping Gloucestershire secure its first-ever T20 title.
In 13 matches, he claimed 19 wickets, including two in the final against his new county, Somerset.
